Tempo students are able to apply for academic scholarships at the high school level.

Grade 10

To qualify for the Grade 10 scholarship, students must be currently enrolled at Tempo and taking a full course load. Scholarships are awarded on the basis of school marks received at the end of Grade 9.

Criteria: A minimum average of 80% in seven of the following subjects: biology, chemistry, English, French, geography, history, Latin, mathematics, physics.

Amount of award: $500 for averages of 80–100% $750 for averages of 90–100%.

Qualifying students will receive a cheque by the end of October in their Grade 10 year, provided all fees are paid and up-to-date.


Grade 11

To qualify for the Grade 11 scholarship, students must be currently enrolled at Tempo and taking a full course load. Scholarships are awarded on the basis of school marks received at the end of Grade 10.

Criteria: A minimum average of 80% in seven of the following subjects: biology, chemistry, English, French, geography, history, mathematics, physics.

Amount of award: $500 for averages of 80–89% $750 for averages of 90–100%.

Qualifying students will receive a cheque by the end of October in their Grade 11 year, provided all fees are paid and up-to-date.


Grade 12

To qualify for the Grade 12 scholarship, students must be currently enrolled at Tempo and taking a full course load. Scholarships are awarded on the basis of school marks received at the end of Grade 11.

Criteria: A minimum average of 80% in seven of the following subjects: biology, chemistry, English, French, geography, history, mathematics, physics.

Amount of award: $500 for averages of 80–89% $750 for averages of 90–100%.
